“ The piano bar is a little hidden, which adds to the ambience. You head upstairs to a tiny bar, which opens up into a huge lounge hidden behind a velvet curtain. I tried the gin basil and the fizzy cocktail--both were delicious, but I was especially in love with the fizzy which consisted of cava and rose. The resident pianist (David Gomez) and an amazing voice and was able to play, all the while drinking whiskey. He was a great entertainer who knows how to mix music with humor. Bobo is a hidden gem in Bangsar, I highly recommend it if you want to impress your friends. ”
“ 5 stars' definitely for their nothing-less-than stunning piano bar - I was here for one of their preview nights where Hadi Afro was the guest performer. Honestly, I hasn't expected that high quality performances in such a small and humble shop it looked like from the outside - but once you're in there, and when you enter their upstairs-piano bar area, your perception might get changed totally like mine. Being under the same group as Cava, they have this special cocktail line in their menu 'Cava-licious' which is a line of cocktails made using Cava - and yes, delicious. That being said, their first floor is Bobo's dining area, where one floor up from there, through a rather subtle sliding door is their bar area and inside - their performance space. The space is well designed, and totally agreeable as a place for a good night out with friends. They do have piano performances every night, except that on Monday night that they are closed, and on certain nights they have special performances, that will soon be collecting a cover charge while entering. You might doubt if it's worth it to be paying for a piano bar performance? For me, having been there one night, I'm definitely going back. It's exceptional. Food downstairs aren't exactly on the cheap side, but given the ambience and quality of food that are provided, they are well worth what you're paying for. Definitely a great place for friends' gatherings and celebrations. ”
